pls remember that you will be dismissed early on Mon at 11.30am

Have a good lunch and report at orchestra room by 12.30pm

We will then start "moving" instruments down to foyer...

Leaders, pls ensure all instruments (with case) and necessary accessories are brought along.

We'll report at foyer at 12.30pm

We'll set off by 12.45pm

HELPERS, pls write the following info on your student handbook, get parent's signature. I will be checking on Monday. Thanks!

Nomination for the New EXCO  2009-2010

is now

could all section/group leaders get the NOMINATION FORM from Xue Fang on 28/1 (Wed) and submit the completed form to Xue Fang by 30/1 (Fri).

Who can be nominated? Anyone but the current sec.1 or sec.4E

Nominees will have to go through at least 1 round of interview.

more info regarding the election and voting will be given at a later date :)

Some Reminders

1. Practice will be AS PER NORMAL on 28 Jan (Wed) for SYF participants.
2. There's no practice on 29 Jan (Thur).
   
3. Starting from 3 Feb (Tues), sectional will be on TUESDAY (except for percussion)
4. Wednesday will remain as combined practice for SYF.

With effect from 28/1/2009, 

all sectional practice will be changed to TUESDAY, 

except for Percussion (remain on Thurs).

Wednesday will remain as Combined for SYF,

until SYF is over.

Time:

2.15-3.00 (Study time inside GO room)

3.00-5.30 (Actual Practice)

 5.30-5.45 (Debrief)

*Those with remedial will report IMMEDIATELY after remedial. (pls have a heavy lunch or prepare some snack)

CCA Fair- Thank you

A Big THANK YOU to all who have come to help at the CCA Fair on Sat!!

You have done a great job and hope you will carry on the SPIRIT till SYF!!

CCA reporting time on 10/1

Dear all,

Reporting Time for this Sat CCA Fair will be 9-930am. 

What do you do after you report?

1. prepare your instruments (Tuning + Practice) *section leaders

2. prepare the materials to bring down to booth *Ena

3. clean up the orchestra room and perhaps DECORATE A BIT? *Valerie

At 1025-1030am, those who are helping at the booth will go down to set up:

1. set up instruments *group leaders+XF

2. arrange chairs for guzheng and dizi performance *JiaFen

3. decorate booth and noticeboard (if not done up yet) *Laura

ATTIRE: Green G.O. T-shirt (with PE shorts)

*except for Guzheng players --pineapple costumes :)

What time the whole thing will end?....probably 1pm (no debrief)

If I am not involved for the CCA fair, can I still help?

YES!!! you may help in one of the following ways:

1. to promote OUR CCA to sec.1 ANYTIME, ANYWHERE!

2. to be there ON SAT to support and help out.

3. to INTRODUCE your section to the sec.1 on THURS (8th) during sectional practice.

What will happen during the CCA Experience?

Sec.1 students will be going around different CCAs from 6th-8th to have a FEEL of what it's like. 

For GO, they will come on Wed to observe our Combined Practice & on Thurs to have a hands-on experience!

What will happen during the CCA Fair?

We will have a BOOTH and OPEN HOUSE.
